Hi,
Could anyone please help me identify the unit at the bottom of this gas mask canister I bought several year ago?
As far as I can read it says:
Obgefr. Andreas Schoor L 44388 Lg. Pa. Nbg I/152

Looks like the 5 digit number is a feldpost Nr? Wouldnt Nbg possibly stand for: Neberwerfer Brigade? Just a thought.
Thanks for your reply! I think it might mean Nurnberg as well and the 5 digit number could be the feldpost number associated to some 152nd battalion originally stationed in that city, but I couldnĀ“t find it anywhere.

Rodrigo
Feldpost number 44388
(28.2.1941-29.7.1941) 2. Batterie Reserve-Flakscheinwerfer-Abteilung 198,
(1.3.1942-7.9.1942) 2. Batterie Flakscheinwerfer-Abteilung 198,
(12.3.1943-7.9.1943) 2. Batterie Flakscheinwerfer-Abteilung 198 (c).
Hope this helps?
Cheers, Ade.

Many thanks, Ade.
Any idea on what I/152 could mean?
Best regards,
Rodrigo
It is a unit accountability number I think.
Cheers, Ade.
