Id say MG42. From many of the old guys who fought in WW2 the one thing they dreaded most was the MG42 purely for its efficiency in killing large numbers of men in seconds due to its reliability, stopping power with a decent 7.92mm round and of course its legendary very high rate of fire. I ran with the U-Boote.If it wasn't for the Enigma code being broken they may have changed the course of the war.Churchill said after the war they were the thing he feared the most.
Physical and economic destruction.Undersea Strategic bombers if you get my drift.
