German and Soviet trophees

I love this photos with the daggers, basically they were denazified I remember there were a thread on SAF.

as for the bayonets: nearly all soldiers were trying to get one, soviet troops were short in short edged weapon all the way to Berlin.

But here is another pics. Helmets this time. I have seen an order of rewards for soviet civilians: so much money for so many collected helmets.

I guess the German binoculars would have been prized as Dienstglass are lighter than Binoculars used by other armies. Also a lot of Soviet mess tins are the open pot type with no cover so cant store anything in . I haven't seen later than 41 dated Soviet German style mess tins so I wonder if they were less issued .?
