I was recently able to add this original 2nd. Wilkinson FS to my collection.
It is stamped with /I\ B2 on one side of the guard and the export stamp "England" on the other side. Most of the bluing remains on the blade with a few scratches to the finish. Most of the bluing on the handle is worn off. The retaining elastic is gone from the sheath and has been replaced with a piece of leather lace to retain the dagger.
    Ralph.

    Ralph,
    That's a very nice knife.

    Thanks Greg!
I only have this one with the "England" export stamp but I felt that the other markings were good enough to acquire it.
I can always think that it may have been used by some form of U.S. Special Forces.

I know that some collectors don't like the "England" stamped knives because
they may or may not have been carried into combat.

But you have to remember that these knives were made with the same materials,
by the same people and at the same time as the combat carried knives. They are identical
in every aspect and were not made as collector pieces or for any other non-military purpose.
