    A very battered 3rd pattern FS knife made by William Rodgers (it is stamped on the cross guard but I can’t get a good picture in focus) with a ‘1’ cast on the hilt. The blade has been shortened and re sharpened. On the cross guard there are four unusual marks, although given the condition it is anyone’s guess as to how they got there.

    hello, nice grouping of daggers.
    The marking on the crossguard "Rodgers" in combination with the mouldnumber 1, could tells us that this is a POST-WAR FS with a ww2 war grip.
    is the Rodgers stamp in cludes with "ill cut my way"?

    It says ‘William Rodgers Sheffield’ (best picture I can get)
