    That would make sense. it came from the CBI along with a beautiful Ghurka blade.

    Things always get confusing when people add many items into one thread.

    Any knife marked "Made in England" is WW2 surplus sold post war in the USA.

    It's a 2nd pattern with a well worn knurled grip. It is actually in better shape than
    what the pictures shows. The flash really washed out the details.
