Hi. I like to collect cold war era militaria and came across this FS dagger. Third pattern post war. Marked broad arrow over 1983 on one side od the guard and Sheffield England on the other. Handle and sheath tip look like black painted brass. Balance is around an inch back from the cross guard. Anyone else see one marked like this?

I have a Sheffield England stamped F-S but it does not have the acceptance mark
and is not dated. I've had it sense 1973.

I wish I could be of more help but quite honestly this is the first one that I have
seen that is marked like yours.

Thank you Chopperman. In searching the internet I only found one other example like it/marked the same. They attributed it to the Falklands occupation but who knows? NATO was also doing their Able Archer training the same year.
