    Thank you ALL for the positive replies. That really helps me overcome
    the buyers remorse I have for spending this kind of money on myself
    just before the holidays.

    I'll try to get some better pictures by the weekend.

    Yes--- a 1st pattern is on the list.

    Years ago, I had a line on a hand ground 3rd pattern with the C /i\. It was the only one
    I have ever seen and so rare the guy decided not to sell.

    No remorse
    I first started collection fighting knives and bayonets when I was 13 years old.
    I bought my first F-S dagger in 1973. (the same year I got my first German
    sawtooth bayo) But I soon discovered that the prices for the kinds of knives I
    wanted was WAY-WAY more than I could afford.

    Don't worry my friend. Early iron crosses is still my main focus.

    Here are a few fighters and daggers I have picked up--
