Could this fallschirjaeger helmet be genuine?

Article about: I have just acquired this Fallschirmjaeger helmet which was offered to me a couple of days ago. I was after a good copy to add to my collection, as the cost of a completely genuine example w

    yes the shell looks good , and has age to it , a good test is if you squeeze it at the sides it should not move all copys move some you could crush in your hands so only mm s , but all genuine ones will not move a mm as they are built for combat use . the shell looks good to me , liner and chin strap are not ww2 as you know by now .

    Paint looks like its been into acid - liner is all too new to fit the helmets look.

    Hi 'Stalhelm expert'
    I don't know if you've read all the postings, but in my very first one I said the liner was repro, I also said the chinstraps were Bundeswehr. The shell is indeed genuine (ET71) as is the remainder of the Normandy cammo. The idea was to prove to other collectors that you cannot go off pictures alone to judge an items authenticity. Although obviously, some think they can!

    I think your way of judging posts is way bad. The amount of exclamation marks in my "FaKe!!!" post should already there give you tweaks about what the idea was. As the other guys say: read the thread and face the point.
