Fallschirmjäger Helm

Hello at all,
I want to show my M38 Helmet. He was found a few years ago,with other Paras in North Germany near Schwerin.Only the rivets are new,the Rest is original. Shell has a little Rest of paint and the typical "ET"(Eisenhüttenwerke Thale) marks.The Aluminium Inliner was repaired. The Leather was shrunken about the long time of lying but now its soft again.

You seem to have no doubt the shell is genuine,and i hope it is .its an area i wouldnt put money into because of the cleaver fakes that abound.wish you well with it though.

Hey that looks like an original shell and liner.Good looking piece when together too and like it very much.Would like to buy it if its for sale anytime soon:-)
