Fallschirmjager M38 Help

Hey guys, I was offered this today at five hundred. I honestly do not know a lot about them. From the reference material I have it looks like a solid one to me. Has some condition issues for sure but seems like an honest example. Opinions are greatly appreciated

Liner and straps are bad. I'm about 95% sure the shell is bad too but these pictures are not the best and therefore I can't tell for sure. I don't like what I see though.

In all my years of collecting, I've never owned one of these and it's a Real Struggle for me to tell the difference between original & fake...They've gotten better at faking these FJ-Helmets than anything else that I can think of that's being reproduced out there...

If you search google for these images you will find the same photos on several sales sites. Sellers are Apollo1939 & Hornblower1994. These are just 2 of the aliases used by Pawel Nowak. Give this one a big miss. Even if there is a shred of authenticity about this helmet this clown probably doesn't have it in his possession anyway.
