    I like the helmet. Very unusual to see the second decal application and also odd to see unpainted bolts. But all the pieces are original. Very nice liner, straps, and paint.

    I don't claim to be an expert on cloth covers but it looks good to me and looks even more believable in the pictures in the WAF thread.

    Welcome to the forum, that is a stunning example, I could only aspire to a helmet like that. A classic ET lid, as Terry says, unusual over decal but sound as a pound! Well done. Leon.

    Surely not discovered recently in a shed - looks like it was picked up in '44 and stored wrapped up in a cupboard ever since. Hardly a blemish on it ..... wow!
