Where the rivets exit on the rear side, should they not be flat and not rounded as these are ?? I had one similar once, wait for the Fallschirmjager experts however !

Sorry this is not a good one although it is not a bad copy.The pitting on the reverse is a big give away and looking at the close up of the catch/loop it appears to show the edges of the badge have been rounded off with a small file.
Note in particular the hinge, catch and rivets compared to Joachim's badge in his linked thread.
Looking for LDO marked EK2s and items relating to U-406.....
