    Hi Kurland, that ones in great condition considering it's a ground dug piece. As for value, I guess it would be around £600 mark, maybe a touch more if supplied with the exact details of its discovery location and probable unit information. Leon.

    Have to do some research - I'm not aware that any Fallschirmjäger units were in the Kurland pocket.

    there was no,but was luftwafe infanterie 2 division.and latvija dug out paratrooper helmet

    The badge could have belonged to a soldier who earned it before being hurt/wounded, and then transfered to a ground unit.
    Collect ROA, Cossack, Schuma and other WW2 Volunteer militaria.
