Hi, I agree with all of the above comments, I would add that I have noticed that on the Staegemier fakes of all badges I have seen, the gold finish always appears to look a touch "watery" (if that makes sense)? There never really seems to be any real depth to the colour to my eye's. Leon.

May I just add that I've seen this badge last week on an auction website as well and I encourage you to be very careful when you buy something on this website. Indeed it gives absolutely no guarantee and no expertise so many fakes are bought every week for several hundreds of euros. I would have been had several times if wouldn't have asked opinions on the forum before to bet.

There are lots of examples of this badge that are for sale.
Like you say it is best to post pictures for appraisal before parting with hard earned money.
I am noticing that there are some 'mint' examples of Assmann ROAGs and flugzeugfuhrer badges just hitting the markets that look like digital copies and will no doubt be fooling collectors.
