    @Chris:Is in your opinion my GWL para a fake?I know the discussion with that "fingerprint" looking stripes on the badges you have shown there.The opinions are different.But my GWL para it`s a textbook badge.I have had it shown in the "WAF" also to hear more opinions.
    I was more curious about the fingerprint in General than your badge.

    I can say with certainty that the GWL Beobachterabzeichen above is a fake.

    The fakers have looked at a GWL badge and realised that this fingerprint is a feature of this maker and have reproduced this on their products. Unfortunately they neglected many other features hoping the fingerprint would fool everyone.

    I would imagine the same manufacturing techniques applied here as those Verwundetenabzeichen made by Hauptmünzamt Wien '30' with the circular striations.

    Looking for LDO marked EK2s and items relating to U-406.....
