    Welcome to the forum. Even though the pictures aren´t very good I have many doubts regarding this being an original piece. It lacks detail and the needle and the catch look bad. A cast repro maybe? Please wait for comments from more experienced collectors here.

    Ok. Sry for the bad quality. I only can see a "1" marked on the backside. Maybe it would help.

    This is not my collecting area, but I always interested in learning so I will give it a try.

    Looking at the forum we have the so called Staegmeier fake, but I cannot see any traces of that in this badge.

    So I believe this is an original badge by Assmann mold “1”.
