Hey gang....There is a recent thread started about a German Musician buckle. I woud like to post my example for discussion. Could it be Weimar era? I have seen this type of construction before.....I don't know much about it....it's definitely got some age to it....I like the affixed logo with the drums....
Any information would be greatly appreciated on this one....
    Cheers and thanks!

Here's what I believe is a modern musicians buckle.....do they still use these today or is this an older buckle that is in mint condition?
Thoughts and Takes on this one? The front is very clean...the back shows more age...

    Hello
and Thanks for Your comments. However almost forgot.

Akademia Muzyczna im. Karola Szymanowskiego w Katowicach
is the oldest operating university in the Upper Silesia, founded in 1929
Musical education took place on three levels: the Lower, Medium and Higher School of Music, and on seven faculties:
    The 7th was
Military School of Music (the first of its kind in Poland and the other in Europe, educating future kapelmistrzˇw and members of military bands)
Perhaps, once Germans came They took the chance.

For me the box looks " older " than the school and an interesting roundel, " stout "

Alex, yet another very interesting buckle and I agree with you, the box on this one is much older for sure, dont know about the roundel but the box has to be WW1 or earlier!
