    Stuttgart? Feuerschutzpolizei?
Maybe I am wrong, but it is not for both of them?

as far as I am informed the buckle has nothing to do with TR,
but was intended for police after WWII.
And why Feuerschutz. It does not have any signs for that as
    the buckle is NOT "brĂ¼niert"!

Overhoff did produce some of them look-a-likes. A variation
was sold as for Reitervereine. If I remember well Angolia said
something about them in his first edition buckle-book.

I used to wear one for many years, when visiting shows. It was
given too me during one of my visites at Overhoff.

There are two with the horse design, I think Hannover police and West fallia Police. I need to have a look when I get home, there are subtle difference in the horse design, busy at work at the moment

Yes, there were even more horse designs,
but the most well-known is the galopping horse and rampant (jumping) horse.

Hannover, Braunschweig and Westfalen used the "jumping" horse within
a shield. The shields are different and there are slight differences in the
pattern for the horse. But this was the use during the early 1930's and
during the TR until the police-pattern buckles came into being for those
who were allowed to wear this type of buckle.

After the war the horse within the shield was produced also. The form for
    the shield was slightly different.
