    Hi my friends
    I bought it on ebay,but I am not sure if it is ww2 item.I never saw this kind of color before.No mark.

    Looks a bit like the ones we have in Russia. Same colour. The photo can of course cheat me a bit, but especially the first 2 pics look like that colour.

    It is a German messkit from what i see.

    The color is odd, repaint?

    Hello,
    What you have there is a tremendous german enameled messkit in great condition. If i'm not mistaking, those blue enameled canteen were produced in Schindler's factory. Canteens with such blue enamel do also exist. Great score for you here, congrats...

    Yes it's German, but what i meant was that we have a lot of repros made here in a much the same colour

    Very nice Messkit lianshangzheng
    At the top of the Field gear section there is a Sticky dedicated to (The M31 Messtin and Wartime variants )
    Would you be so kind as to add your variant there for future referance for other collectors as there is not an example of one there yet with the blue enamel coating on the inside and outside of the Messtin
