    Grüß Gott Bergkameraden,

Here is a walk around of the Gebirgsjäger Display that I set up at the Dragon Models Expo in August:

    Hello Patrick,
you display some outstanding Gebirgsjäger stuff.
just one question : what's the white hat on the mannequin wearing the three pocket anorak with MP40 & both ammo pouches ?
the three pocket anorak made from Sumpfmuster camo cloth is tremendous...thanks for sharing these pics...

Vielen Dank Bergkameraden! That's over 25 years of collecting this stuff.

As to the question about the floppy white hat, it's a local cap from the Caucasus region...worn by farmers and cossacks...and also Gebirgsjägers and soviet troops:

Thanks for sharing these period pics Patrick. This caucasian soft hat looks nice on the pics. Not very military but i guess that it gave an extra shadow for sunny days, more than issue headgear.
