I realy need help from you guys, I'm looking for the leather strap to the German mess kit, but I can't find one anywhere on the internet or any dealers i know

Is this a strap you are looking for?
This one is Czech re-issue with Czech depot stampings, another one looks like WW1, without the loop on it

I actualy dont know how it looks like, it also the reson I ask, I have ben looking for that strap in very long time, i found this pic on the net: the mess kit match the mess kit I have. so I think it one like that on this photo

It is a original German WW2, but with ink markings from the Czech depot. If you need it, just make the donation to the forum, at the ammount which will say your heart

Hello,
Technically the straps pictured here (the ones with the quick release) are not messkit straps. Some fit, but some don't....it's a matter of being lucky or not....
The real german messkit strap doesn't have an additional leather tab for quick release and has only eight holes for the prong.
