    Default 1936 dated tornister

    picked up this earlier example pack,the straps interestingly have different makers and are both dated 1939 there is an ink stamp showing 1940 and also the owners intials Click image for larger version.

    thank you steve even though never used in combat i still find them appealing ,i wonder though if there is any evidence of used in combat ,im sure i might of seen a picture but it might of well been the flare pack though ,thanks again ,james

    Hi James, Not a rare item and for what you get for your money, relatively cheap. However, I have several of these packs and find them strangely interesting. I think we must both be a bit weired?? LOL.

    thanks michael they do have some appeal ,and as you say very reasonable on the pocket too for a period item ,now if i was to wear it to work then i would definately be classed a weird thanks for looking mate ,james
