Default Book Announcement (for Equipments fanatics....)

    Hello Gentlemen,
My book about german fieldgear "German Combat Equipments 1939 - 1945" will be released next month (February 2014)
Last corrections are now done...This work has begun in the pages of Militaria Magazine in 2000 (with my mate, the late Laurent Huart) and it now comes to an end with this guide meant for any collector interested in german combat equipments. I have focused on items carried by Infantrymen armed with the K98k, items that were general issue for other branches of arm also.
As already mentioned in another thread, it will cover the following items from prewar time to the end of the war.

    - Heer buckles & belts
    - Breadbag 1931
    - Messkit 1931
    - Canteens 1931
    - Straight shovel and its carriers
    - Folding shovel and its carriers
    - Ammo pouch 1911
    - Y-straps 1939
    - Gasmasks 30 & 38, carriers & accessories
    - Zeltbahn 1931 & accessories
    - Bayonet frogs
    - A-frame 1939

It will bring "light" to beginners and will help average collectors....
Advanced collectors may also feel some pleasure to read it, who knows...
Available in French and English (dont worry gentlemen, it's not translated by me...) for a fraction of the price that you would expect to pay for such a knowledge...
    I hope you'll like it.
    Thanks
