    Hello,
    eveything says they are postwar firemen, general shape, front of boots (no shark nose), lower part sewn under the upper part where the shaft begins, nature of leather...everything sorry...I did wear the same pair when i was a teenager...back then you could buy a pair of these for about 150 french francs (23 euro) and there were a lot of them for sale in surplus, flea markets...

    Thanks for the info, it is one area that you just don't see much of.

    I guess all the boots were used up post war.
