Brass catcher shell - mg 42 -

think is right for this MG 42?
The materials look just Germans, what do you think?

Are there any markings? It can be also post-WWII Jugo made item, they used MG42 clone MG53.

it is the catcher for the M 53(yougoslavian)

I wouldn't think it was much use on an Mg42 given the rate of fire!

The Germans did use a brass catcher for the MG42 and M34 mainly in Tanks and half tracks , but as put above this one is Yugo post war
