Buckle question

    You must excuse me as I'm new to this thread also I am WW2 tank trooper 82 years old so not to good at this!
    By chance I was googling for German buckle and found a request on this forum for help in identifying an equipment buckle.
    I cant find it now but the buckle pictured was NOT WW2 kit but a buckle from a 'GRISWOLD SOCK MACHINE', used to attach to the sock being made and a weight hung on it to pull the fabric down!
    See if I can attach pic!
    See buckle in bottom right of spares kit!

    Welcome to the forum, it gets easier...





    However, the fact that the tanks had now been raised to such a pitch of technical perfection that they could cross our undamaged trenches and obstacles did not fail to have a marked effect on our troops.

    I do post on other foums, I am senior (age!!) Admin on the FaceBooK Royal Armoured Corps Forum.
    served in Queens Bays (2nd.Dragoon Guards) and 1st.Kings Dragoon Guards. Also worked as Mechanic on sock machines , my Grand Mother produced Army Greys by hand on the type of machine pictured!
    Do wish I could find the original buckle help request!
