Buckle question
You must excuse me as I'm new to this thread also I am WW2 tank trooper 82 years old so not to good at this!
By chance I was googling for German buckle and found a request on this forum for help in identifying an equipment buckle.
I cant find it now but the buckle pictured was NOT WW2 kit but a buckle from a 'GRISWOLD SOCK MACHINE', used to attach to the sock being made and a weight hung on it to pull the fabric down!
See if I can attach pic!
See buckle in bottom right of spares kit!

Re: Buckle question
Welcome to the forum, it gets easier...
However, the fact that the tanks had now been raised to such a pitch of technical perfection that they could cross our undamaged trenches and obstacles did not fail to have a marked effect on our troops.
