Building removed Swastika

I am thinking about letting this go but have no idea how to describe it. eace:

I was told it was painted post war, and was removed from a derelict building in West Germany back in the day... :laugh:

It's quite attractive, would make a good background to a TR display.

Looks like it is made from 'Plaster of Paris', which is not a very good
material/substance for placing outside in the weather.
It also needs a good cleaning.

Hope it didn't cost too much, as it not only could have been
painted post-war, but possibly made post-war.........

It does look cool, probably a nightmare to ship though. What are the dimensions?

I agree with Steve-it doesn't look like an outdoors ornament. The chips on the edges and back in particular look awfully white and much like plaster of Paris, as suggested. Is it just a trick of the light?

Hi guys no its not plaster of Paris, its solid concrete!

The chips etc on the rear are from where the circular saw cut it off

I find that hard to believe, as there are strange cuts at 90 degrees
for no good reason, and the colour appears too light to be
concrete - under the paint, it should look like the surface
it is sitting on in the photo - a much coarser material.

Too bad it has been painted. If this is or was good,
any decent value has been lost, IMO.........

The circular cuts are most deff from a saw... but the dints etc could be another story.. As for the paint I have a powerhose that would to get out of the shed lol..

What ever the material is, the item have been casted, that is for shure; the (6 or 7 )holes in the front (air bubbles!) reveals that.
The cuts at the back were not made to cut the swas from the building, but they are made to pretend that the stone was carved. (That didn't work, apparently!) ;-)
So on that base I would think it was made to decieve and would make it post war to me!
