    Hi Guys

Struggling to pin these down and wondered if anyone has come across them before ?

Nice brown leather case with army green painted periscope inside. Markings are MG SRPI no:4872 and other side 8x24 Decigrades.

I'm hoping they are German. I guess the number is the serial number and know the sizes are 8x24 but rest is a mystery.

Optics are perfect and still has clear gradient markings. Handle pulss down smoothly. No marks or dates on the case.

I recently got a pair of these but the eyepieces are frozen and don't turn. I took all of the screws out of the adjusting rings and the rings spins freely but I can't figure out how to get the eyepieces off or even the adjusting ring. Anyone have any thoughts or advise??

    Thanks...

    Hello,
    Why not ?

French trench binoculars 8x24 made in Puteaux by the Société de Recherches et de Perfectionnements industriels (SRPI)...MG means Ministère de la Guerre (Ministry of War).
    Nice condition...
    Thanks
