Article about: It is a S.F.14 for foot artillery; according to Stew on WAF.

    Default Carl Zeiss Scherenfernrohr 10 x 5 mit Behälter

    No other marks are to be found on all items in the box....
    Color makes me think of DDR, but according to the guy I baught it from it was a vet bring back...
    Two pieces seem missing.

    from the colour as you say post war,if it had been wartime she would have been marked either with the zeiss logo or blc,still a nice piece though,looks like the brush is missing but you should be able to pick up one fairly cheaply,

    It does carry a Zeiss mark, at a hiden place.
    On second thougts i was wundering if it couldn't be a Reichswehr periode item , judging by the color...

    is there a serial number at all?would have thought if it was that old ( Reichswehr ) the case would have been in worse shape,but I must say I have seen ones that have hardly a mark on them and dated to late ww1

    Thanks again, for your time!
    The optic seems like it have been hardly used, the only minus is oxydation to some parts.
    So I think it was taken from a storage.
    There is like a serial number on the cupper in the bracket that needs to hold up the optic on a feet;
