Is it Cavalry Tool Pouch ?

I just found that pouch marked Waa879 for Adalbert Fischer, Fabriken fur Militärausrüstungen, Werk Guttstadt in Ostpreussen.
Is is a cavalry tool pouch ? I seen other cavalry tool pouches with with D-rings.

Similar to a Nachrichtentasche but lacking the D-rings and internal dividers. Ruling that out. NH

I also checked for communication related pouches but cavalry one seems to be a match of some sorts.
