    Hi all,
a couple of new toys to add to the eclectic collection.

First is a pair of AUER Neophan goggles - commonly known as U boat ones because of the red lenses, these were actually just for low light conditions ( although the rubber helps with the nautical impression ) unusually these have GLASS lenses - more commonly they are made from plastic.......

Hope they are of some interest to the group?
    Cheers, Dan

second is a very nice DAIMON TELKO TRIO torch. These were used by the Feldgendamerie as they had the green and red sliding filters and the hinged 'hood'. This one has an additional BLUE filter inside - any ideas what this would be used for???

The top buttoning loop is torn but there is a period safety pin threaded through the loop so the damage may well have been done at the time - who knows. Apart from this it is a VERY clean example of the top shelf of German military flashlights!

    Cheers, Dan
