i had this torch for a fair few years but havent really paid it much attention ,i wonder if military or civilian issue ,does the green denote any particular use oh and is it ww2 period ,any help appreciated thanks james

I think this is a civilian model. That being said the civilian models were just as common as the military issued ones in the wehrmach so it is quiet possible this could be a private purchase.
