DFH.A Headphones - strange combination

Hi,

I found those headphones and they seem really interesting as the earpieces and cable are standard dfh.a headphones but head band appears to be from Kriegsmarine radio headset.

Any ideas ? Thanks.

that could be the answer ,U-Boats.

thanks, started looking and they look like uboot headphones but i need to research it a bit more...
