The flask and cap are matching on the Feldflasche. The flashlight looks to be period. The logo makes it a pre-1945 example. It should have red and green filters. NH

    thanks for your help
but why is the feldflasche HRE89? it is a defect? and the cap is HRE39 and has that carving on it a sort of triangle!
is there a list of manufacturers for this?

    Thank you very much

The canteen neck simply has a deep strike of the number 3 making it look like an 8. Not sure about the triangle. Some owners scratched their names or initials into field equipment in order to identify it. Could be just a little personal marking. NH

Thanks Neil for helping me out. I bought these 2 pieces on an antiquary in Bratislava on my vacation. About the feldflashes do you know any documentation about markings and makers?

    Thanks again

HRE is Heinrich Ritter, Esslingen. You can find some more makers here: www.militaar.net :: Vaata teemat - Saksa alumiiniumitootjate markeeringud
