Looks fine-I see no concerns with it.

Hmmm...could be just the camera lens distorting things or a manufacturer difference but the wreath on the adler looks 'fat'. This can be a sign of a Czech fake from 20 odd years ago.

It Could be, but it could also be just the camera angle? I'll defer to younger eyes!

I think larger, more detailed photos would help.

Not sure either, the cloth backed versions can be a minefield, the fat wreath has me concerned also.

here are some more photos guys! Thank you for the help thus far.

When comparing to the others posted this has an upward pointing beak on the eagle and a fat looking swastika wreath to me.

That's a tough call for me, I would side with caution, when I was shopping for one I heard and seen the Assman cloth backed ones were faked alot, since then I only considered a cardboard backed version.

Mine is cloth backed but not Assman marked, yet does not have a fat wreath or upturned beak so I'm sure it's fine. Was a house find in Denmark apparently after the war then in the finder's collection until he passed then the son sold it to me.

Feldgendarmerie gorgetFeldgendarmerie gorgetI have the opinion that the bead around the edge of fake ones are indeed much wider than the originals . This one has a wider bead compared to Glenn66's example . The lettering is also very poor compared to an original. Look closely . That's the difference I see in the two . I have an original and unfortunately a fake ( pictures added ) and you can easily see the difference in hand. Just my 2 cents .
