I own 4 field telephones from 1950 something.. Two of them Were from a police station in Munich, Germany. I use 2 D 1.3 volt battery's to power them. But id like to know how to hook one up the a Land Line phone..Eg a house phone.. I did some studying and found out I need a switch board to be able to get that done... So is there any was i can get one for cheap or maybe make one of my own??

Moast telephones may be used as receiving telephones on regular network. (You have no dial to dial out)
You need a capacitor of 1-2 microfarad 200V a switch and a resistor.
Connect lik this:
C.O.----------------|--------capacitor-----Field telephone
.......................switch
|
......... resistor (approx 600 ohms)
|
---------------------|------------------------
---- and | are wires, .......... ar just to get space.
