Article about: ...a small part of a dug-up Flak88 - if I'm correct: Not really an interesting item I suppose, but a small part of history still. It was less than 2 EU...'wish I knew where's the rest of it.

    Just joking, nice find, it could be a museum is missing this and are willing to trade. Please keep us updated on what else you find out there!!!

    THX! I did not dig this up...I'll ask the seller where he got it from.
    There are stories about FLAK canons rusting in thick forests, not even under-ground - here in Hungary...shame.

    Frankly it would be worth more to a museum simply for the color, rather then as a part, should they be restoring one, and require a nice patch of untouched original color to match off of.
