    Hi,

I would like to buy this flashlight from. It seems a very nice piece to add in my collection.

I need your expertise to tell me if is original and if the stamp is ok.

    The dealer is Franz Fruth.

    Thank you in advance

It looks like a good one to me. I've never seen an ink stamp like that on the inside of the lid, but then there are endless variants of these field torches.

Do you think the stamp is original? Franz Fruth is my favourite dealer but I ask just to have a second opinion

Thank you in advance to everyone

The stamp is a recognised type, identical to the ones seen stamped on gas mask filters. I have not seen one on a field torch before, but then I haven't looked at many field torches. There is no stamp on the one period torch I own, but it is a different type to this one. Personally, as it's a piece of military equipment, I don't see any reason it wouldn't be WaffenAmt marked. I would say it's original to this item.
