Folding Seat - German ?

I have seen this folding seat and wonder if it is military in nature. I have seen canes that had folding seats and so on.

Any feedback is appreciated.

Looks more like a sort of fishing chair.... I doubt it is military

I think the proper name for it is a 'sporting chair' used for shooting, fishing and watching racing etc

I've got a couple similar kicking around somewhere, as said used mainly for shooting or when following the hunt on foot. They come in useful for crossing barbed wire fences too.
