    Default A Frame

Guys, I need some help on this A frame I've just been offered in a deal. I know nothing about them other than they make very good copies,I have to admit, it looks rather sloppy in construction. These are the only photos i have at the moment, i would appreciate any input

    Thanks

Tom, I am on the hunt for one of these. Would you be so kind as to point out the details that indicate this is a fake? It would be helpful to me. Thanks! NH

So, I'm back and my feet are hurting

The A-frame shown here is a typical fake one, which can be easily identified :

1 - cross straps are made of Czech webbing

2 - the 2 leather tabs at the top are wrong ! (in fact it is one tab divided in 2 , but as you can see on mine should cover the entire width of the Frame)

3 - leather zelt straps are wrong (should be longer where the buckle is, with 2 loops)

4 - metal small rings are wrong (2 on side and top)

5 - connection piece on lower strap is "missing"

6 - Rivets on straps are wrong

7 - Sewing on hooks is wrong

I could go on and on but these are very important items to watch

And if you're seriously interested I'm always open for mails or questions.... don't hesitate to ask

here a picture of one of mine to compare

and here a shot of the ones in my collection now

    Hello,
And in my opinion, if you check the internal stiffener, it is made with a blade from a hacksaw...
    Thanks
