A-Frame backpack

Article about: Hi, guys! I was confused by round metal rivets from the inside. That party, which adjoins to a back of the soldier. Is it normal? Your opinions concerning this subject. Thanks, cheers Jurgen

    Hello gentlemen,
I have already seen rivets at the back on several examples that were perfectly original.
    This example appears quite desirable...
May we know the price asked nowadays for such a piece of fieldgear ?
    Thanks

Back in the mid 1980's these were fetching AUD$300 but back then I could not afford what was then a weeks wages.
These days I still cannot!!!! .....the only item of field gear ( IMO ) that seems to have stayed constant is the humble zeltplane.

Thanks for the price Ade, yes, expensive indeed...
The problem is that it is a "must have" for all collectors interested in the WWII german infantry...
The last Gefechtsgepäck i want to buy is the early grey canvas example but it's quite rare, it was already rare in 1939/40, so...
    Thanks

    Hello Tom,
No, i'm sorry, i dont have a photo to show...I have only seen two of them in very advanced collections...(of course i'm not talking about the Gefechtsgepäck made from internal straps for Feldblusen which is also grey...)

The one you're looking for is also quite rare nowadays...i only know three in collections so far...It was my first Gefechtsgepäck bought quite some time ago now...
    Thanks
