Gas Mask Canister - Unknown W.a Codes and maker

I recently took another look at my gas mask canister, and have became a bit dubious about the orginality of the Waffenamt Code stamped inside. It is stamped as Wa.A40, however I can find no record of this code existing. It also has a very odd makers mark, which is two stylized Z's in a triangle, as well as some sort of odd image stamped onto the spring mechanism. Take a look at the pics and see what you think. The logo on the spring is very common, i've seen it many times and certainly got one or two somewhere on my canisters...
The Waffen-Amt is Wa.A. 40, not Wa A40....it's for Waffen-Amt 40
I don't have my files right now, but someone might help here...
and for the ZZ maker's mark, i see nothing wrong, it's a new one for me i must say...never seen before...
(for me ZZ has always been Zinedine Zidane only....)
I see no red flag on your photos, everything seems ok to me

Sorry about the late reply, didn't see your message until now! I looked on the Wa database and could only find one entry for code 40, that being for grenade parts. Is there a way I can contact the editor to get the list updated? Thanks,
