Gasmask ?

I am considering buying this gasmask, It should be a German gasmask, but I have never seen this type before, is it German from WWII ?. I think that the canister is all right

Not a german mask, looks like something soviet. The cannister is original but repainted outside.

Yes, that is also what I thought, the seller told me that he had bought it in Estonia, so that is why it is a Russian mask, so he actually tries to cheat ti a bit :-(. Yes I think you are right, the canister has been repainted

I would hold out for something better. The canister has been painted and the pull strap is chewed up. NH
