    Default German aircraft part?

Picked this up at a boot sale the other day and would love to know what it is?

It is aircraft grade aluminum with eagle and swastika stamp and numbered WA0787 there is a large date stamp (1940) and further up are the letters GA.

Any help would be most welcome.

Hello! One thing : every piece of a German plane is with a Flug Nummer, Fl. So here, you have not this code, this is not from a plane.
