I just got those pieces in - regular size 5 horseshoe made in 1944 with screw in cleats and mule shoe size 2.

any photos ? - what are the common makers you find ? the 1944 horseshoe has 3 letter code ending with either J or U.
Most of them is still uncleaned. But I`ll have a look in the boxes and take pics of any cleaned ones

Interesting. I have never seen German horse shoes before.
After careful examination maker mark is hau 1944.
Looking on the interweb, that maker is Mettal-u. Lackierwaren AG Ludwigsburg.
I've been looking to getting in to Calvary items. (almost got German saddle but I got out bid(about $500)). If you don't mine, meyle77 how much they cost you?
