    Hello,
    It is not a military item, but rather political/paramilitary. Some photos show that it was used by german soldiers in the field, but it was rather an item retained from their time in a national socialist organisation before joining the army.
    The green paint over the aluminium may indicate a field use, if the paint is wartime of course...
    No sorry, there's no thread dedicated only to canteen cups, maybe one day...

    Pretty sure that is the same cup that is in my "Virgo Angetreten!" catalog.

    If not same exact but close model. top right of page you see the cup.

    Thanks for information! Still question is why it dont have manufacturer info?
    But German Army Canteen Cups are still very welcomed here!
