    Default German disposable goggles

I have somehow managed to pick up 4 of these over the years and never really thought much of them. I believe one is DAK issue and has a name written in grease pencil, one case is almost disintergrated, but I found a makers mark on the paper packet!

Not as sexy as a bayonet or a M35, but still a interesting piece of disposable kit!

The one on the top right has some lovely handwork on the stitching, for a disposable item they are very well made. Unfortunately one packet arrived damaged, but will keep it safe anyway!
I was really surprised to fined a paper packet like this maker marked......

I like this kind of stuff. I have one myself, but without the bag.

    Hello,
They're nice and affordable items. They were general purpose/anti dust/sun lighweight goggles. They can be seen on period photos from the snows of Russia to the sand of Northern Africa, and in every country where the german army fought during the war. They were conditioned in paper/carboard or cloth carriers.
I once found a gasmask set from a fleamarket and there was one pair of these goggles without carrier that was folded and on top of the gasmask. They're still in...
    Thanks
