Did the germans have a manual that showed how to set up there web set, pack there a frame, and set up there uniform(tunic hooks and internal suspenders)?

Hi

There are a lot of manuals out there and yes they did have ones that showed the correct way to pack the tornister, do drill, wear your zelt etc.

The earliest book I have is called Der Infanterist by Captain Hube (later panzer general) published 1925 and the Reibert books were also a good source of info for those joining the army or whichever service for that matter, they kind of covered what you need to know before you start...
